In reality, the Tailored Fit X-ONE worked best for users who wanted something purpose built and didn’t mind waiting for it, but there was an obvious gap in the market for professionals who need a truck cap in a hurry, including: fleet owners, rental companies, companies with mixed-brand trucks, and companies who frequently rotate units. They needed something that could be available faster, with more flexibility than a custom tailored build might allow.
So we made the X-ONE Universal Commercial Truck Cap.

We don’t build the X-ONE Universal to fit every pickup truck on the road because we’d be leaving a lot of storage space on the table (A RAM pickup’s bed is ~4-6” shorter than a Chevy’s, for example). We designed them to fit our customers’ most popularly-owned trucks while maximizing available storage space and ensuring flexibility for the future at the same time.
